Jag kan lära dig: Swedish as a foreign language

Learn or improve your Swedish with me. We'll create a tailored program that suits you and the time you have to dedicate for this topic. Whether you are at the beginning of your language journey or an advanced student we'll work together with the language in order to improve it.

If you're a beginner we'll start from scratch meaning we use a book named Rivstart and during each lesson we'll focus on working with all parts that is a language: grammar, reading, listening, writing and conversation. If you are a more advanced student we'll work on more specific and crucial areas where you might need to improve, but we'll create your tailored program before starting our journey!

When I teach I try to focus on all areas of a language during lesson-time which means that even if you are a beginner's student, we will talk in Swedish immediately trying to simulate the conversations we have read about in the texts. When you are in the beginning of your language journey it is very important to have a structured lesson, and the best way for having that, is using a textbook rather that random photocopies, so we'll work our way through a textbook that I use and is the best on the market for learning Swedish, because you advance really fast and it is structured in the way that you also can take a specific examination-test named Swedex if you need a language certificate.

For more advanced lessons the focus will lie more on the conversational part working on vocabulary and expressions, but the complete structure of the course will be tailored in accordance with you and based upon your specific needs. They can be for instance to improve your grammar or pronunciation, or you might prefer to focus more on listening and conversing only.

I have been teaching Swedish as a foreign language for the past 12 years, and I have experience from teaching both in the classroom and online. During the years I have taught many students from different part of the world and I have been teaching Swedish both using English and Italian for communicating.
